- SILENT AUCTION IS HERE!!
- Our silent auction begins Saturday, October 8th at 8:00 am and will close on October 22nd at 8:00am. Items won can be picked up at the home meet or arrangements made through Vice President, Mandy

- A separate document will be sent out via email with more detailed information.
- Please share the event with family, friends, neighbors, etc. Anyone is welcome to bid!!!
- POOL CLOSURE/SEASON EXTENSION
- Thank you to all members with their patience around the pool closure. To make up for the missed practice times, we will be extending fall session another week through December 2nd at no cost to our members.

- NEW COACHES
- Our apologies in the delay in announcing but DFAC is excited to welcome two awesome new coaches this session!!
- Konrad Plomedahl joins us with many years of coaching experience. Coach Konrad is primarily working with our Dolphins, Sailfish, and Gold groups. Konrad swam high school with Coach Tammy’s sons, and he swam briefly with DFAC. During the day he’s a math teacher in the Sun Prairie school district.
- Lynette Raether also brings much coaching experience having most recently served as an assistant DAHS coach. She has graciously stepped up to fill in while we continue our search for additional coaches. You may already know Lynette from High School swim where she does meet management and her co-meet director in training role for DFAC. Her kids swim on our team, and Coach Lynette works in the Deforest school district.

- HOME MEET/MEET MEETING
- Our fall home meet is quickly approaching. If you have yet to sign up for required volunteer position, please do so to avoid the $100 volunteer fee. Reminder the requirement is one volunteer PER swimmer. Any questions regarding volunteering can be directed to Katerina ([email protected])
- Members of the board will be presenting a ‘Meet-how to’ session on Monday, October 17th from 4:30-5:00 along with Tuesday, October 18th from 4:30-5:00. The sessions are intended for all new swim families to learn what to expect/do at a swim meet. The sessions will be at the pool on the 2nd floor in front of concessions.
- PRACTICE REMINDER
- Please make sure you are at the pool on time to pick up your swimmer. With some sessions the pool is literally closing at the end of our swim time and we need to be able to leave the premise right away and know our swimmers are making it home safely
- DFAC MERCHANDISE ORDERS
- We are expecting the Simply Swimming orders, Trending Now Promotions orders, and team shirt to all be in before the home meet. Once received, we will email out distribution plan.

- USA SWIMMING REGISTRATION
- Thanks to everyone for registering your swimmers with USA Swimming on the Swims 3.0 website - and thank you for your patience with the new process!
- All USA Swim Fees paid during fall registration have been credited to your DFAC family accounts ($82 per swimmer). For families who requested a refund by check instead of an account credit, the checks were mailed this week.
- If you have yet to register your swimmer yet, deadline reminders:
- New swimmers: Oct 10th (should be registered now if competing in tomorrow's meet).
- Returning swimmers: Dec 15th
