  • HOME MEET-MOTHERS DAY SPLASH
    • Thank you all for a successful home meet!!!  We could not have pulled it off without all the volunteers.  Shout out to our per/sr/gold group members who stuck around in the afternoon and helped time, stage, and do awards.

       
  • VAST MEET
    • Good luck to our swimmers in Verona this weekend!
    • Coach Nick sent out an email with further info on 5/18/23
    • One very important note on parking:  Please do not park in the lot on the West Side (HWY 151 side) of the high school.  This will be reserved for Pool Staff Only and that door will be locked. For meets, we do not use the regular "Aquatic Center" entrance because access to the spectator stands is on the East side of the pool buildings.  Please park in front of the high school (Staff and Visitor Lots) and enter through Door 6.  There will be some overflow parking behind the school (Student and Ball Field lots).  However, there is another event happening in the school atrium on Saturday, so you will have to walk around the outside of the building to Door 6 for entry

 

  • WELCOME COACHES DANIKA & AVA!
    • Coach Danika starts with us today!  She will be with us through summer.  You can expect to see her on deck Mondays and Fridays. 
       
      • Danika’s Bio: Hello! I began competitive swimming at the age of 8. I spent 9 years with DFAC,  2 summers with the Sun Prairie Piranhas, and 4 years swimming for the DeForest Girls’ High School Team, where I was named a team captain! I currently attend UW-Platteville where I run track and field and swim on their club team. I am in my freshman year of college working towards my double major in data science, and mathematics!

You’ve probably seen me around the pool deck, as I am a head lifeguard and swim instructor at the DAHS Pool. I am         beyond excited to be back with DFAC and can’t wait to work with all the swimmers

Coach Ava will start with us Monday and will also be with us through summer.  You can expect to see her on deck Tuesday- Friday

 Ava’s Bio:  I started swimming competitively with DFAC at the age of 5 through 14 and with McFarland Spartan Sharks from ages 14 through 18. I swam on the women’s varsity swim team for 4 years at Deforest Area High School. I just finished my sophomore year at the University of Missouri-St. Louis where I am studying Sport Management and also swim on their women’s swim team where I hold multiple school records and am a member of the 200 free relay All-American team.

  • SWIM FEST (LAST MEET OF SPRING SESSION)
    • An email went out Sunday about Swim Fest in Pleasant Prairie, WI.  Registration deadline is TODAY.  Meet is June 3rd and 4th.  We may only attend Saturday depending on Sunday’s interest level.  This is at RecPlex and is a 50m pool.
       
  • SUMMER SESSION
    • Registration for Summer Session is now open!!
    • Summer Session will start Monday, June 5th and run through Friday, July 21st (with additional week of tapering for 13 & over heading to state)
       
  • HOME MEET-SUMMER SOLSTICE JUNE 9th
    • We are doing it all again in 3 weeks!!  Summer meet is a one session only Friday Evening meet
    • Registration IS open for meet. All summer swimmers are required to participate
    • The volunteer sign up will open Monday, Mandy sent out an email Thursday.  Reminder for each swimmer participating in summer session, you must fill a volunteer role or pay the $100 volunteer fee.
       
  • SUMMER MAC MEET
    • The MAC Meet 6/30-7/2 is full and we have been put on their waitlist.  They say if space opens up it will be offered to DFAC first.  If this were to occur, there would be a quick turn around so please pay attention to your emails.
       
  • SUMMER BIRD BATH INVITATIONAL
    • The Bird bath meet will be held in Appleton 7/7-7/9.  This is Wisconsin’s largest outdoor meet.  If you are interested in going, please let Jenny ([email protected]) know.  We are limited to 25 swimmers.  If over 25 show interest, we will base on seniority with the club.  
    • Bird Bath meet lodging info has been updated as the meet itself has blocks set up at several hotels
