DFAC HAPPENINGS 10/13/23
- BAC MEET, Saturday October 14th.
- We have 25 swimmers participating in the BAC Spooktacular. Both Coach Nick and Jenny sent out information regarding BAC’s meet on 10/12.

- HOME MEET, Saturday October 21st
- We still have positions that must be filled to run the meet. If available to fill a second position, it would be much appreciated! Positions needed to be filled:
- PM Announcer
- PM Meet Marshall
- Due to not enough volunteers, award positions in the PM were eliminated, we will NOT be handing out any awards during the meet, including our own swimmers.
- Those who did not volunteer will be charged the $100 volunteer fee, multiple reminders have been sent out at this point.
- We do expect both Simply Swimming and Trending Now orders to be in prior to the home meet. Once in, we will send out communication how to pick up. We will likely do a pickup night thurs or fri and pick up at meet.

- Registration is now open and will close October 27th. This was originally a two-day meet but now is Saturday only.

- MCFARLAND ROCKSTAR SPLASH, Friday November 17th-Sunday, November 19th.
- Registration is now open and will close October 20th. This is a three day meet. Swim practice WILL still occur on Friday, November 17th for those not attending meet Friday.

- HALLOWEEN/TRICK OR TREATING, October 31st
- PLEASE email Jenny ([email protected]) if your swimmer WILL be swimming on Tuesday, October 31st. We may cancel/adjust based on numbers….last year we had less than 5 swimmers because of trick or treating. As of this posting, I have not received confirmation from any swimmers wanting to attend.

- Silent Auction opens tomorrow!!! Auction will be on facebook. Link will be sent. Bidding must be in $5 increments. LWinners can pay/pick up their items after noon in concessions. Thank you to all the families that have contributed!!!!!
