DFAC Happenings - 01/17/2025
DFAC WINTER PENTATHLON
We are excited to be hosting our home meet this weekend! Please see the 2025 DFAC Winter Pentathlon for on deck times, etc. Heat sheets have been posted so please make sure your swimmer is marked up prior to being on deck.
Please also be aware there is a wreslting event at the High School. They have requested that their participants park on the other side of the school but there is no way to restrict where people can park. As a reminder, the lane between the baseball field and the school is a Fire Lane and anyone who parks there will be ticketed and potentially towed. Please park in assigned spots, the side streets around the school, or the larger parking lots on the other side of the school (you will be able to access the pool from the main entry near the PAC).
UPCOMING MEET REGISTRATIONS
There are no current meet registrations pending. We are still planning on attending the BAC Groundhog meet in February and will provide more information as it becomes available. Regional information will also be coming out shortly.

- January 21st – Purple practice only (4-4:45 pm)
SUMMER SWIM CAMPS
In prior years, we have had interest in swim camps in the area. There are a couple of camps our swimmers have attended if your swimmer is interested. You can find the information here:
Badger Swim Camps (Badger Camps) – they are already waitlisting some of their camps as these are very popular.
Nike Swim Camp at Lawrence University (Nike Swim Camp at Lawrence University). In past years, have been able to receive a discount once we reach a minimum number of swimmers. If you are interested, please use this Google sheet to coordinate with other swimmers on the team for roommates, etc. as DFAC will not be organizing this directly. If there is enough interest, the board will reach out regarding the discount.

*As a reminder, home meet volunteering is REQUIRED and if you are unable to meet this requirement, you will be charged the $100 fee*
