HAPPY THANKSGIVING DFAC!

Happy Thanksgiving to our incredible swim family!  May your holiday be filled with joy, rest, and plenty of good food. Here’s to making more waves together in the season ahead!

 

CLOSING TODAY!!  WINTER REGISTRATION

Winter registration starts on Sunday!  Registration will run from November 16th through November 26th.   Winter session will mirror the fall sessions practice schedule with similar closures due to the HS Boys’ swim season. 

**As a reminder, a late fee of $25 will be applied to swimmers registering after the deadline.**

 

PRACTICE THE REST OF THIS WEEK:

  • Wednesday (11/26) – normal practice schedule
  • Thursday (!1/27) – NO PRACTICE – Happy Thanksgiving!
  • Friday (11/28) – normal practice schedule

 

PRACTICE CHANGES NEXT WEEK: 

  • Thursday (12/4) – NO PRACTICE FOR ALL PRACTICE GROUPS (Boys’ HS Meet)

 

IMPORTANT: USA SWIMMING REGISTRATION

The deadline is fast approaching for your USA Swimming renewal.  Please take the time to renew your registration.  Renewals must be completed by 12/01/2025 to ensure all swimmers are in good standing with USA Swimming. Here is the link to update:  USA Swimming Registration Renewal

 

NOODLES & COMPANY SHARE NIGHT – DECEMBER 4th

Come support DFAC at Noodles & Company on December 4th.  Flyer attached with the details.  There is no practice with the HS boys’ meet, so we hope to see you all there.  If you can’t make it, order online with our code and enjoy in the comfort of your own home!

 

SWIM-A-THON SURVEY

The board is looking at bringing back DFAC’s Swim-a-Thon.  Many teams use this as an opportunity for team building and a way to raise funds to cover facility rentals and mainintaing lower session fees.  Please complete this survey so we can get feedback on bringing back this fun event.  DFAC Swim-a-thon Survey

 

UPCOMING MEET REGISTRATIONS

Please log into TeamUnify to declare your swimmer’s status for the upcoming winter session meets.  The deadline for the meet registration is firm.

Single Age State Championships (December 13th-14th): STATE QUALIFIERS & RELAY SWIMMERS WILL BE CONTACTED REGARDING REGISTRATION

 

SINGLE AGE STATE TEAM STORE

NEW THIS YEAR!  DFAC has opened a store for DFAC Single Age State gear.  Parents are responsible for purchasing shirts for their swimmers.  Items will be available by the State Meet.  Store deadline is December 8th at 8 am!  DFAC Single Age State Store

*As a reminder, home meet volunteering is REQUIRED and if you are unable to meet this requirement, you will be charged the $150 fee*
