HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

On behalf of everyone at DFAC, we wish you and your family a joyful holiday season filled with happiness, warmth, and cheer! Thank you for being a valued part of our community. We look forward to an exciting new year together in and out of the pool. 

This is the last DFAC Happenings for 2025.  Please watch for emails from Coach Nick regarding meet deadlines, etc.

 

OBSERVING PRACTICES

For now, we will continue to allow parents on deck for practice.  But please make sure you observe the following rules:

  • Please only utilize the first 2 sets of bleachers.  We recognize everyone wants to spread out but we need to give our practice groups space as well as leaving space for the community swimmers.
  • Do not interfere with coaches on deck.   We only have the pool for a short period of time, and the coaches have a quick turnaround between groups.  Please reach out to them via email or TeamSnap after practice if needed.

 

REMINDER: SWIM-A-THON SURVEY

The board still needs your input on bringing back DFAC’s Swim-a-Thon. With rising costs, many teams use this as an opportunity for team building and a way to raise funds to cover facility rentals and maintaining lower session fees.  Please complete this survey so we can get feedback on bringing back this fun event.  DFAC Swim-a-thon Survey

 

ELITE EMBROIDERY ORDERS

If you have not picked up your Elite Embroidery order, please let us know.  We are not leaving the items out and will need to coordinate a pickup.

  • Thursday (12/25) – NO PRACTICE FOR ALL PRACTICE GROUPS (Christmas Day)

  • Wednesday (12/31) – NO PRACTICE FOR ALL PRACTICE GROUPS (New Year’s Eve)
  • Thursday (01/01) – NO PRACTICE FOR ALL PRACTICE GROUPS (New Year’s Day)

 

SWIMMER HIGHLIGHT

  • May 9, 2026 – Mother’s Day Splash

*As a reminder, home meet volunteering is REQUIRED and if you are unable to meet this requirement, you will be charged the $150 fee*
