STORM WINTER CLASSIC

DFAC is back in action this weekend at the Storm Winter Classic at Sun Prairie West.   You can find meet information here:  2026 Storm Aquatics TYR Winter Classic

As a reminder, you will need to purchase tickets for each session.  You can find the ticket sales on Storm Aquatics - Hosted Meets page.

DFAC PENTATHLON

Our home meet is next weekend!  Please make sure your family meets the volunteer requirement or you will be charged the $150 fee.  We would much prefer your help as it takes all of us to make these events successful.  You can find the sign up on under the the Team Events (DFAC Events) and Job Signup.  If you have any questions or the jobs are full, please contact Abby ([email protected]) or Melissa ([email protected]).  

PRACTICE CHANGES NEXT WEEK:   

• Thursday (01/13) – NO PRACTICE FOR ALL PRACTICE GROUPS (HS Swim Meet)

UPCOMING MEET REGISTRATIONS

Please log into TeamUnify to declare your swimmer’s status for the upcoming winter session meets.  The deadline for the meet registration is firm.

STAR Winter Chill (January 24^th):  REGISTRATION DEADLINE: 01/09/2026 (TODAY!!)

8 & U All-Star Meet (January 25^th):  REGISTRATION DEADLINE: 01/09/2026 (TODAY!!)

REMINDERS:

A couple of reminders for everyone as we are heading in the last half of the season:

• Parking lot: the parking lot can get congested especially at pick up time.  Please do not block parked cars and utilize parking spots while you are waiting for your swimmer.
• Please remind your swimmer that once practice is over, that we do need to have them get off deck as quickly as possible.  This ensures coaches can switch practice groups promptly and that the lifeguards are able to clean and close the pool timely.
• Any lap swimming done after practice is not covered or endorsed by DFAC.  Anyone wishing to do so needs to obtain a daily pass or membership and would need to follow the rules of the pool for minors.
