GTSA TYR Championship Meet Recap: GTSA had 83 swimmers participate in the TYR Championship meet last weekend. GTSA placed 6th out of 18 teams in last weekend’s swim meet at Bobby Hicks Pool. The men scored 1025 points while the Women scored 994 points respectively. What a great way to end our Senior Champ short course season! Our GTSA qualifying swimmers were highly motivated and came each day with great personalities and ready to conquer each race. Our swimmers performed and raced and earned personal top times and set a few new team records at the championship meet. Berkeley Aquatics Time Trial Recap, February 22nd The Greater Tampa Area Swim Association recently competed at the Last Chance Time Trial hosted by Berkeley Aquatic Club. The GTSA swimmers continued to shine from the previous weekend at Berkeley. The last chance swim meet is offered to swimmers who are trying to make qualifying times for upcoming spring championship meets. MEET RECAP – February 16 - 18 The Greater Tampa Swim Association competed at the Last Chance Swim Meet hosted by the Berkeley Aquatic Club. The GTSA had 50 plus swimmers attend the meet.
