BUENAVENTURA SWIM MEET Another swim meet-- another outstanding show for the Paseo Aquatics team! In this meet it was the ELITE-SILVER group that took center stage, with unbelievable swims from RYAN DAVIS, JAMES CUSUMANO and NICOLE WHITEHEAD, who dropped almost 9 seconds in her 500 FREE and another 4 in the 200 FREE! And a hearty shout out to all the 12-Under swimmers who had to brave the early morning schedule and temperatures to compete. PASEO AQUATICS SWIM TEAM FITTING What a tremendous turnout for the team fitting yesterday at CONEJO SWIMWORKS! The fitting took place from 2:00-4:00PM and there was a line already forming at 1:45. For those who could not make the fitting, you have until this WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 18th to be fitted for a team suit and sweat pants and/or jacket. We are also offering team swim bags and caps. 2013 LONG COURSE JUNIOR OLYMPICS What an AMAZING weekend for Paseo Aquatics' swimmers and Coaches, who ventured to both Fresno and Riverside, CA for the 2013 Long Course Junior Olympics, and watched one Paseo Aquatics swimmer after another drop incredible time over the 4-Day Meet! CA-NV SECTIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS Thank you to ALL who came out and cheered on BRYANA WAAGE and JULIA WOLF at the CA-NV Sectional Championships on Saturday. What an amazing turnout and show of support! Both girls braved an incredibly talented field in the 50 METER FREESTYLE-- including one or two Olympic hopefuls-- and represented team Paseo Aquatics proudly. Congratulations to Bryana Waage and Julia Wolf for earning Sectional Times in the 50 METER FREESTYLE. Bryana swam a 28.58 in the 15-18 Division, while Julia swam a 28.19 in the 13/14 Age Group to finish as the fastest 13 year old in that Division. Both girls will represent Paseo Aquatics at the CA-NV SECTIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS on Saturday, July 20th at the Santa Clarita Aquatics Center. SAN LUIS OBISPO SWIM MEET Congratulations to all who competed in this weekend's SLO Swim Meet-- and SLO was the key word of the weekend, as the pool and the clock seemed to conspire against every swimmer in the meet, which saw very few athletes posting their best times.
