BUENA LONG COURSE OPENER: The Buena Long Course Opener will be held this Saturday and Sunday, March 16 and 17, at the Buena Ventura Swim Complex in Ventura. Novice swimmers will be competing in the morning session, Blue and JO swimmers in the afternoon. The afternoon session will begin no earlier than 12 Noon with warm up to start 45 minutes prior to the first race. CENTRAL CALIFORNIA JUNIOR OLYMPICS: The PASEO AQUATICS swim program shined this weekend at the Central California Junior Olympics, where Paseo Aquatics took home 7 overall Medals, including 2 Gold and 3 Bronze. SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA JUNIOR OLYMPICS: Paseo Aquatics' own Julia Wolf took home the Silver Medal in the 50 Backstroke and 2 Bronze Medals in the 50 Freestyle and 200 Backstroke at this weekend's SoCal Junior Olympics in Huntington Beach. RIO MESA SWIM MEET: Congrats to all those who competed in last weekend's Rio Mesa JO Qualifier. We had every group level represented-- and came away with winners in several events, including a couple Central California Junior Olympic Qualifiers.
