Brian Poon of Phoenix Swim Club (PHX) broke two NE Resident SCY records this weekend at the Bowdoin Invite. Brian broke the long standing Boy's 13-14 100 Fly record, set in 2003 by Corey Swanson (MAG), with at time of 52.38. Brian also broke the Boy's 13-14 400 IM record set by Ryan Harty (GMSC) with a time of 4:00.26 CONGRATULATIONS BRIAN!

On Monday, November 21st, President Wallace Loh, announced his decision to cut 8 sports teams at the University of Maryland, including the Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Programs. Parents and supporters have gotten together to start the Save Maryland Swimming and Diving Campaign. The objective is to raise $11.56 million by June to save the programs by funding them for the next 8 years and ultimately creating an endowment in perpetuity.
