Swimming National Teamer, Eva Fabian, from Greenwood Memorial Swim Club, just won a gold on Saturday at the 12K La Patagones Viedma, FINA Open Water Swimming Grand Prix. DECEMBER SWIMMER OF THE MONTH Just ask Eric Cobert of Crimson Aquatics if hard work pays off! After months of training, he walked away from the Christmas Countdown Meet with best times in almost all of his events. His positive and cheerful attitude helps him stay focused in practice and during races. Eric's technique has improved tremendously over this season and it is expected he will see huge results from his hard work. THE BLUEFISH SWIM CLUB SET A COUPLE OF NEW ENGLAND RESIDENT RECORDS this past weekend at the 2011 CeraVe Invitational in New Jersey. The 13/14 Boy’s 400 LCM Medley Relay team of Ned Ramsay, Connor Green, Sam Spurrell , and Jordan Ross, set the NE Resident record with a time of 4:18.34. Connor Green took down Olympian, Erik Vendt’s, record in the 13-14 400 IM, set in 1995, by posting a 4:42.71. This time beat Erik's by over 2 seconds! CONGRATULATIONS to the Bluefish Boys!
