For 20 years, Mariella has been an integral part of New England Swimming’s Board of Directors. The November Swimmer of the Month has been dropping enormous amounts of time in every event since the first meet of the season! His 14 second drop in the 500 free was the most notable , and can be attributed to his hard work at practices, and his commitment to the sport. USA Swimming has been busy this Fall approving new clubs for New England Swimming. The Flaherty Dolphins (FLA) is based in Boston, MA, under Head Coach Richard Mojica. The Dolphins will be practicing at the Flaherty Pool in Roslindale, and UMASS Boston, in Boston. New England Swimming is excited to have this newly formed team on it's roster!

Crimson Aquatics: At Junior Nationals in Atlanta, the Girls 15-18 800 Free Relay Resident record was broken by Rachel Moore, Erica Belcher, Erin Foley and Maggie D'Innocenzo Charles River Aquatics (CRA) broke two NE Resident Records at the STAR Short Course Invitational in Buffalo, NY this past weekend! The first record is the 13-14 Boys 400 Freestyle Relay. The team was Dan Goudovitch, Duncan Mulleady, Christopher Downing and Julian Asuaje Solon. HERE is the document stating the new background screen requirements for USA Swimming registered non-athlete members (Coaches, Officials, Individuals). The new screening will be available on Jan 10th and a link will be posted to this website. You should send in your 2011 non-athlete registration form, and $60 payment, now. All cards you receive for 2011 will say "TEMPORARY" on them. When you complete the new process, a new 2011 permanent card will be sent out to you.
