LAC earns 1st place at the Lake Superior Regional Meet! What an awesome weekend! I would first like to thank all of our parents and swimmers who volunteered to help run the meet. This is a very important part of being a successful club, and we pulled it off with tremendous success. If you have been around our team for a while, you understand that it is really growing and the quality of our swimming has improved tremendously over the last couple of years. This was evident as we won...

LAC Families, What a successful clinic this weekend!! We were so lucky to have Miranda Tucker share some of her experiences with the kids. Our kids were able to hold her medals from the Olympic Trials, World Championships, and two gold medals from the BIG10 Championship! She conducted a one hour video session to start off the clinic and then a one hour in-water session where she got in the water with the kids to help them with their breaststroke. It was awesome to see the kids so engaged! We...

What an amazing end to February!! I don't know about you, but on days like today, I start thinking about summer activities!! Before long, our kids will be swimming in outdoor pools, waterparks, lakes, and rivers. The Cereal City Swimming School has become a very popular way to introduce swimming skills and promote safety in and around water to our Battle Creek children. We are so excited to see this program grow into what it is today! With that being said, I don't want anyone to miss out on the...

LAC Family, Lakeview Aquatic Club traveled to the Michigan Open this weekend at Oakland University. This was a very large and fast meet where we, once again, made strides on improving our swimmers! Our senior group saw some Olympic hopefuls and we learned from swimming against the some of best in our area of the country. Our Junior swimmers had a great time, as we saw them scoring in the top heats across many of their events (including record setting performances)! Major Baumann, Reagan Magnus, Avery Russell, Christian Hancock, and...

What a fun weekend in Zeeland!! Lakeview Aquatic Club took 16 athletes to Zeeland this past weekend to participate in the annual Boo Bash. We came away with a ton of personal best times and even more great experiences! For the majority of our kids, we saw them swim a "marathon" of events. Danny Borozan, Major Bauman, Hugo Carsky, all swam 11 events over the two days while Christian Hancock and Lavell Marshall swam 10. Coaches feel this workload provides the kids with experience in preparation for the championship season...

If you haven't heard...our new swimming school has been a huge success! We are so excited to see our community embrace such an important program. We have some of the most experienced swimming instructors in Southwest Michigan teaching our youth safety around water, and the community has recognized the importance of this program. We had approximately 280 registrations this summer, and another 140 so far this fall!! The program is teaching water safety (level 1) and stroke development (level 2). It is truely amazing to see how fast the kids...
