Our very own Head Coach, Kate Lundsten, is one of the first three coaches featured in a special new project from USA Swimming called the Legacy Series. USA Swimming developed this series as part of USA Swimming University to highlight coaches who have impacted the sport. The filming and interviews took place in late spring of 2023. The other coaches featured in the first release of the Legacy Series are Bob Bowman and Jim Ellis. Check out this awesome video of Kate by clicking here.

Led by four-time honorees, Charlie Egeland and Emma Kern, 14 Aquajets student-athletes were named to the 2022-23 USA Swimming Scholastic All-America Team. Egeland and Kern, now freshmen at Yale University and the University of Texas, respectively, were two of 125 senior swimmers to make the team three or four years of high school. A total of 1,135 USA Swimming members were named to the team this year, which is comprised of 514 girls and 621 boys. The Central Zone was represented by 207 student-athletes. Aquajets has earned Gold Medal status in the 2024 USA Swimming Club Excellence Program, finishing 13th among all eligible teams. The Club Excellence Program recognizes USA Swimming’s highest-performing clubs in the development of athletes 18 and under, and Aquajets is proud to have earned Silver or Gold Medal status for 15 consecutive years. This is the 6th time Aquajets has earned Gold Medal status. Two hundred USA Swimming-affiliated teams make the cut each year.
