Hi Coaches, I am excited to announce applications are open for the 2024 WZ DEI Camp that will be in Indianapolis at Butler University in June. We will be sending one male athlete, one female athlete, and myself as DEI vice-chair. Goals: To empower athletes from ethnically underrepresented populations, those economically disadvantaged, and LGBTQAI2S+ and their coaches to: Demonstrate the viability of inclusiveness in swimming within their local LSC. PNS Teams, Another update from the Program Operations Team. We have reached some decision points for a couple of the upcoming meets and are tweaking and changing things to ensure that we are providing the meets for the LSC’s athletes. December Divisionals - We didn’t get enough hosts to run this meet in the typical fashion. Fortunately, we are able to use KCAC that weekend and run a 3 site Divisional Meet. Updates from Around USA Swimming Nov. 18, 2021 PNS December Championships Meets Planning Program Operations continues to adapt meet planning to meet the changing COVID regulations as implemented at WKCAC. Following the successful October Challenge Meets, King County Health released an update to the existing COVID protocols that provided new challenges.
