MAVS EMAIL: Week of 4/8
Hey Everyone,
This past weekend we had 3 swimmers represent our team at the Far Western Championship meet in Pleasanton. This is the highest level meet we attend on the age group side of the program and includes swimmers from all over the western United States and Canada. Congratulations to Sabine Waktins, Roxie Jahn, and Nooa Lawrence for a great end to the short course season.
This Week:
No Practice Thursday 4/11 due to an RHS swim meet and limited pool space.
Team Event – Friday 4/12: All Groups Practice Times 5:45pm-7:15pm. We will have a Team Building Event before our first long course meet. It will include a meet warm-up, relays, games, and pizza.
No Practice Saturday 4/13 due to the Splash into Spring Meet.
Upcoming Meets
Splash into Spring (4/13-4/14) – Job assignments and details will be out later this week.
Woodland Distance Meet – Talk to your coach about what event to sign up for.
We will be adding a one day meet hosted by CCA on May 11th. This will be a small tri or quad meet with the teams invited. More details to come.
Meet Attire: We will be implementing standard meet attire later this spring. Attire will be Saturday: navy blue RST shirt; Sunday: any RST attire you would like. We will provide 1 standard shirt for all swimmers currently on the roster. Please complete the attached form with your swimmer’s size by this Thursday. Meet Attire Order Form. Additional shirts are available for purchase.
