Please contact [email protected] for information to become a USA Swim Official.  The team's USAS Officials are responsible to officiate the rules of swim by USA Swimming standards at USA swim sanctioned meets.  Officiating is a great way to meet other swim parents and you have a great view of the action in the pool!   

Steps to become an official:

Sierra Nevada Swimming - New Officials - complete all the items listed

RST Official Incentive Plan: If you are interested in becoming an official for our team, please contact [email protected]. 

New Officials - once certified (after shadow sessions and testing is complete): $200 in team credit (towards future dues) for the first shift worked (this is $150 towards expenses + $50 for the shift). $150 in Arena Apparel.

New and Current Officials - For every Rocklin Swim Team assigned shift you work (once you are fully trained), we will add $50 in credit towards future dues. For example, if you work both Saturday and Sunday of a meet weekend, we will add $100 in credit towards future dues. Additionally, all USA Swimming Fees will be reimbursed as team credit as well. One time each year, we will offer $150 credit for Arena. 

**The board will evaluate whether to continue the program after August 2026.
