WAVE EMAIL: Week of 4/22
Hi all! Here are some reminders for our upcoming events!
Swim-A-Thon: It’s time for our Annual Fundraiser and Team Building Swim-A-Thon! The Event will take place during normal practice times on Friday, May 3rd, and results will be announced on Saturday, May 4th, at Time Trials.

Our goal is just $50 per swimmer - money will be used for the upgrade of the sound system for our meets at RHS and to purchase additional meet equipment for this and future Wave Seasons. You can pledge based on laps (goals are listed on the fundraising site) with a maximum donation; or donate a flat fee. Prizes will be awarded to our top 3 contributors and the age group that donates the most money will find their practice on 5/10 to be extra fun and get a treat at the end!
Registration Shirts: If you registered prior to April 1st and did not pick up your free RST registration shirt last week, they will next be handed out at Time Trials on 5/4.
Team Suits, Spirit Wear, Name Caps: Equipment lists by age group, a link to the Elsmore Rocklin Swim Team Store, and other Spirit Wear information can be found HERE. Spirit Wear takes 3-4 weeks for delivery. Cut off for orders of swim caps with names on them will be 4/25. Please order prior to this date if interested to have the caps in time for our first home meet on 6/1.
RST Swim Caps (no names): We do have RST logo swim caps in stock and available for purchase. Please email [email protected] to purchase.
Buddy Program: I introduced the idea of Big and Little Buddies at our Parent Meeting. I invite your swimmers to participate in this opportunity to get to know a swimmer in a different age group. If your family is interested in this, please fill at the survey here: Buddy Questionnaire. The last day to sign-up is this Friday, 4/26.
Time Trials on 5/4: Meet information, swimmer sign up and volunteer slots will be released within the next few days. Please plan to attend!

Other reminders:
If you haven’t already, Register for Nor CA Swim League: This is required to participate in Wave. It is a $20 fee for the entire season (per swimmer). Please register here. Select “Rocklin Wave”.
Date of Birth Verification: If you are new to the team this year, please send a copy of your swimmers’ birth certificate to [email protected] (your email will be deleted after the date of birth is verified).
