WAVE WEEKLY EMAIL: Week of 5/6

Hi team!
Time Trials: Thank you to all our swimmers and families who attended Saturday! Despite the weather conditions, I saw a lot of determination on deck from our swimmers. Many swimmers showed good sportsmanship, but I wanted to give a special shoutout to the 9-10 boys and 11-12 girls who were consistently shaking hands after their races. Luckily, our dual meets will go much more smoothly now that we had a refresher of how a meet runs, and it should be better weather for our next meet.

Practice Times:   WE HAVE NEW PRACTICE TIMES THIS WEEK

6 and under: 4:00-4:30pm

7-8: 4:30pm-5:15pm

9-10: 5:15pm-6:15pm

11-12: 4:00pm-5:15pm

13 and over: 5:15pm-6:45pm

Swim-A-Thon:  Was a huge success and a lot of fun! We surpassed our goal and raised over $8000. Thank you so much for your support! 

Prizes for the most donations are:

First Place will receive $150 worth of merchandise – Jack Greenfield

Second Place will receive $100 worth of merchandise – Sawyer Mansfield

Third Place will receive $50 worth of merchandise – Quinn Greenfield

Because our top 6 Donators were all over $350 each, we will also be rewarding:

Fourth Place will receive $50 worth of merchandise – Harper Clinkinbeard 

Fifth Place will receive $50 worth of merchandise – Jake James

Sixth Place will receive $50 worth of merchandise – Griffin James

Our Treasurer Kris will be in touch with the winners.

The Age Group with the most donations is 11-12, followed by 7-8 and then 13 and over. However, because we exceeded our goal: All Groups will have a Fun Friday Practice and Treat on 5/10!

Register for Nor CA Swim League: If you haven’t already, please register. This is required to participate in Wave, and you will be unable to compete in meets without being registered. It is a $20 fee for the entire season (per swimmer). Register here - select “Rocklin Wave”.

Date of Birth Verification: If you are new to the team this year, and haven’t already please send a copy of your swimmers’ birth certificate to [email protected] (your email will be deleted after the date of birth is verified).

Team Suits, Spirit Wear, Swim Caps: Equipment lists by age group, a link to the Elsmore Rocklin Swim Team Store, and other Spirit Wear information can be found HERE.  

Registration Shirts: If you still need to pick up your registration shirt, please email [email protected] to arrange pickup at practice.
