MAVS WEEKLY EMAIL - Week of 7/21

Hey Everyone,

Id like to start off with a quick recap of our last two weekends of champonship meets:

First we had the Bill Rose Classic hosted by EGAC. We had 4 very long very hot very tiring days of competition but our swimmers were repeatedly up to the task. At the end of the weekend we finished 3rd place in the small team division, a much better result thn our 5th place finish last year.

Next we had our highest level meet of the season with Sectionals hosted by Thunder Coast Aquatics in Novato. We had great swimming all weekend highlighted by Roxie Jahn and Cate Kadden both picking up their first sectional cuts as well as Morgan Madril and Sarah Pflueger each picking up additional cuts of their own.

This weekend we have a handful of swimmers competing at Far Westerns hosted by Santa Clara Swim Club. Good luck to Cate Kadden, Roxie Jahn, and Emma Warner competing this weekend.

Reminder that this is the final week of practice for the summer. We will return to practice on August 19th

Fall Schedule:

Our fall schedule is always the most difficult to navigate since we need to share our pool space with highschool polo teams. We did our best to keep the schedule as consistent as possible from week to week. Any changes to this schedule will be communicated ASAP
