Wave Weekly Email + MOC Reminders

Hi Wave families! 

Thank you again for a great Wave Season! We got fifth overall, and had tons of amazing swims from everyone. This was a very exciting weekend. All of the coaches are so proud of our swimmers. They worked very hard for this meet.

A big thank you to our parent volunteers who received multiple compliments over the meet! We appreciate your help and could not put on meets like this for the kids without your help.

REMINDER: NO PRACTICE TOMORROW 7/29

End of Season Award Night: Please take a moment to RSVP for our End of Season Award Night which will be held on 8/6. Details and RSVP HERE.

Wave Survey: We appreciate your feedback. Please complete the end of season survey 2024 Wave Survey. Paper copies of the survey will also be available at the end of Season Award Night. 

Fall Registration: If you plan to swim with us this fall, please sign up HERE. We have very few spots remaining and anticipate selling out this week.

Meet of Champions MOC: Congratulations to our MOC Qualifiers. Below is the list of top 10 finalists as well as those with qualifying cuts. If your child qualified and they are not included on the list below, please let me know right away! I apologize if anyone was missed! 

Qualifiers: 

1. Please respond to this email and confirm whether you’ll be attending MOC ASAP. ALL ENTRIES INCLUDING RELAYS ARE DUE TOMORROW AT 6:00PM. I plan on sending them in before that time.  You are allowed to add one bonus event – please let me know if you would like to enter an extra event. Coaches will enter the swimmer’s events, but parents must register swimmers as well (see step 2).
2. Register your swimmer for MOC. There is a $40 per swimmer entry fee and parents need to register their swimmers by tomorrow or they will not be able to swim in the meet. Registration (use Rocklin Wave)

2024 MOC Info

1. After your account is approved, sign up for 1-2 volunteer shifts HERE if your child is in an individual event.
2. We will be ordering team shirts with all the qualifier names on the back (even if you are unable to attend). If you would like to order shirts (family members are also welcome to order), please complete the order form before Tuesday at 9:00am HERE. Shirts are $20 each and we will charge your Rocklin Swim Team account. T-shirts will be delivered Friday 8/2 during practice. 

There is a possibility of adding a few Relay-only swimmers at MOC. I will reach out to parents as soon as possible. Please check your emails. We plan to add relay only swimmers’ names to the t-shirt as well.

Practice times: July 30-August 2: MOC Qualified Swimmers Only. 

8 and under: 9:00am-9:30am

9-10: 9:00am-9:45am

11&up: 9:00am-10am
