Weekly Mail 3/10

Hey Everyone,

This past weekend we had a group of 15 athletes representing our team at the SNS Age Group Championships in Vacaville. Over the weekend we had 60 individual swims that resulted in 49 best times! This was a great showing for our team and a fantastic way to wrap up the short course season for the majority of our team. We still have a couple of swimmers competing in two weeks at the Southwestern Age Group Regional Championships (SWAGR) before transitioning to long course season.

Practice Schedule – Schedules are posted at the link through August. Seniors only: reminder that practice schedules have changed slightly starting 3/10. 

We have 2 schedule adjustments this week due to conflicts with highschool swim and dive meets:

Wednesday 3/12:

Senior and Pre1-5:30AM-7:00AM at WHS

Pre2-7:00PM-8:15PM at RHS

Blue- 6:00PM-7:00PM at RHS

Thursday 3/13:

Practices will be at their normal times at RHS

NOTE: Meet Sheet says Splash into Spring. Swim Connection is listed as Spring into Spring. We are attending the Elk Grove Meet 4/12-/4/13.

USA Swimming - Officials

We need additional officials to fulfill our meet requirements. If we do not have enough, the kids do not receive their awards. If you are interested in becoming an official and supporting the team, please contact [email protected]. Reminder: all parents should plan on either timing or officiating at each meet your swimmer attends.
