Wave: Weekly Mail 4/6

Hi Wave families!

Wave starts tomorrow night at Whitney High School. Reminder: we share the pool for the next few weeks with WHS Swimming. Please remain outside the pool area until COACHES OPEN THE GATES.

Practice Monday through Friday, 4/7 through 6/6 at WHITNEY HIGH SCHOOL

Wave 6 and under - 6:15pm-6:45pm

Wave 7-8 - 6:45pm-7:30pm

Wave 9-10 - 6:15pm-7:15pm

Wave 11-12 - 7:30pm-8:30pm**

Wave 13 and up - 7:15pm-8:30pm**

**If your swimmer(s) could stay and help with tarps after practice, that would be great!

There will be no practice Wednesday 4/9 (due to dive meet) or Thursday 4/10 (due to parent meeting) this week.

Make up Practice will be Saturday 4/12 at Whitney High School at the following times.

Wave 6 and under - 9:15am-9:45am

Wave 7-8 – 9:45am-10:30am

Wave 9-10 – 9:15am-10:15am

Wave 11-12 – 8:00am-9:15am

Wave 13 and up - 8:00am-9:15am

Mandatory Parent Meeting: 4/10 at 6:00pm in the Whitney High School Multi-Purpose Room (No Practice on 4/10). We will have a limited number of items available for purchase, including RST caps and some Arena gear (backpacks, goggles).

If this is your first season in Spring/Summer Wave: please bring a copy of your swimmer’s birth certificate to the meeting to show for age verification for Nor CA Swim League.

IMPORTANT: NorCal Swim League Registration is REQUIRED for all Wave Spring/Summer Swimmers ($20). Register here: Nor Cal Swim League Registration and select “Rocklin Wave”

Team Swimsuit Fitting at Whitney High School: If you are unsure of your size, we will be having a fitting on 4/8 and 4/11 during practice times (6:15pm-7:45pm) at Whitney High. You must be dry to try on! If you are unsure of your size, please wait to order until you have a chance to try them on (team suits are not returnable). Team suits take about 3-4 weeks to be delivered.

Other Reminders:

Please remind your swimmers (and siblings) that there is no running on the pool deck

There is NO climbing on the back wall in the pool area

There are no dogs allowed in the pool area

Please do not try to meet with the coaches during practice – email to set up a time
