Hi all!
Buddy Survey - This season, we are doing Buddies again! I encourage all the swimmers to sign up! We definitely need more big kids! I consider the 9&unders to be Little Buddies and 10&ups to be Big Buddies. Every meet, your swimmer will participate in a little event (such as bringing their buddy a Gatorade). If your family is interested, please fill out the survey by Sunday, April 27, so I can pair you! If you participated last year, please fill out the survey again. I am not assuming you are able to do it this season.
Time Trials – Registration and Job Signups for Time Trials is open! Meet attire is either a team suit, or a black or dark blue suit and an RST cap. Volunteers: if you have questions about what any of the volunteer positions entail email [email protected]. Please confirm your swimmer’s attendance for the meet and sign up for a job at the link (reminder: we need every parent who has a swimmer to volunteer). Deadline to signup is Wednesday, April 30th.
Parent Swim at Time Trials – will happen at shift change, halfway though the day. If interested, please respond to this email so I can keep a list! I plan on having the kids time you, but if any adults are willing to help, that'd be awesome.
IMPORTANT: NorCal Swim League Registration is REQUIRED for all Wave Spring/Summer Swimmers ($20). Register here: Nor Cal Swim League Registration and select “Rocklin Wave”
Equipment: Required equipment by Age Group (with links to purchase on Amazon) can be found HERE. Fins are the most important!
Team Suits and Spirit Wear can be purchased here: Elsmore - Rocklin Swim Team If you need an RST Cap (no name) or would like to be added to the list to order name caps in the future, please email [email protected] Name cap orders are closed for now; we do need a minimum order to purchase. If you ordered name caps through Elsmore, they will be sent to the team and delivered to practice as soon as we receive them.
Registration Shirts – if you registered before April 1st, your free registration t-shirt will be available during practices the week of 4/21.
Rocklin Civic Celebration: RST will be having a booth this Saturday 4/26. If you are planning on attending stop by and see Coach Isaac!
Mother’s Day Photos: Moms, if you want the chance to be featured on our team Instagram, submit a picture of you and your swimmer from a meet or practice! This team is a family, and we want to give you some recognition to show how much we appreciate you!
Practice Schedule – For those in the 13+ group, we appreciate you staying a few extra minutes to help us tarp.
Volunteer Training: If you are interested in Computers, Stroke and Turn or any other trained position, we have free training provided by the league on April 30th @ 6:30pm at Rusch Park. Please email Julie Meir [email protected] for more details.
