Wave Meet Reminder 6/13

Hi there! 

Reminder that our Away Meet vs. FEC Saturday will be at: Cottage Pool, 3097 Cottage Way, Sacramento, CA 95825.
 

 

ALL SWIMMERS MUST CHECK IN BEFORE 7:15am. CHECK IN WILL FOR SWIMMERS AND PARENTS WILL BE AT THE VOLUNTEER TENT.

 

AFTER THE TEAM CHEER: 6 and under, 7-8 swimmers, and 9-10 swimmers: Head directly to your Age Group Tents (ready to race with goggles and caps).

 

Please remember that all swimmers (12 and under) should be at their Age Group Tent 4 Events prior to each race. This means that they have their cap and goggles with them.

 

Relays: There are relays at the start and end of the meet. If your swimmer is 7 and over do not leave the meet without letting the coaches know!

 

Parent Volunteers: Please check in at the Volunteer Booth and receive your name tags for the day.  Please check in first thing regardless of when your shift is. 

 

First Shift: DO NOT LEAVE YOUR POSITION UNTIL YOU ARE REPLACED. 

 

Schedule:

  • 6:45 AM: Gates Open
  • Scratch Deadline - you must check in at the Check-in Tent prior to 7:15 amor you will be scratched from the meet.
  • 7:45 AM: Pool available for warm-up
  • 8:00 AM: Stroke and Turn Judges Meeting (large oak tree near the entrance)
  • 8:15 AM: Timers Meeting (same location)
  • 8:30 AM: Meet Start

 

Snack Bar: 

  • Breakfast (from 7:00 AM): Breakfast sandwiches, fresh breakfast burritos, muffins, coffee and more!
  • Lunch (from 10:00 AM): Carnitas tacos, loaded nachos, cheeseburgers, chips, soda and much more!
  • Note: Cash and Credit accepted, items priced between $1.50- $7.00

 

Heat Advisory:

  • Stay hydrated throughout the day
  • Diving Well is off-limits
  • "Quick Dip" cool-off sessions may be offered between shifts depending on temperature

 

Meet Results: Available on Meet Mobile and Time Drops. Paper copies of results will be posted behind the bleachers
