8/4 Last Weekly Mail!

Hi Wave families! 

MOC Recap - Tough meet due to the temperature and after following an already long Champs weekend, but despite all that, our swimmers did amazing! Hayes VanWagenen won 1st overall high point for 6&u Boys with 33 points. Also, big congratulations to our swimmers who finaled in some of their individual events: Carter Anderson, Harper Clinkinbeard, Angelo Fajardo (placed 1st in 6&u Boys 25 Back!), Joslyn Kenyon, J.D. Olson, Ev Robison, Luke Routsong, Ary Swamy, and Hayes VanWagenen. MOC is the biggest meet a rec swimmer can attend and is extremely competitive, so simply qualifying for it is a huge accomplishment in itself! Our relays ranked pretty high too! The 7-8 girls placed 3rd in their Freestyle relay. The 13-14 boys placed 4th in both their Medley and Free relays. The coaches were also able to bond and see another side of our swimmers this weekend, which was awesome too!
