Weekly update
Hello Rocklin Swim families!
We look forward to seeing as many swimmers as possible this Holiday break. This week’s practices have a few adjustments because of Christmas and our Secret Santa exchange!

Practice on Tuesday will be our Secret Santa gift exchange as well as hot cocoa night! All practice groups will be 4:30-5:30. No groups will be in the water.

NOTES FROM YOUR COACHES:
** When the swimmers are arriving at the pool, it is already cold out. Please have them arrive with something on their feet and a warm jacket or parka. These will both be very nice to have as they are leaving the pool after practice. They are able to keep their shoes and parka on the bleachers during practice.
** The Holiday Season is here. Take advantage of the great sales going on at Swim Outlet to get more practice and racing gear.
**Sac Polo has practice right after we finish up each night. We split the workload as far as keeping the pool nice and warm. This means that we need to pull tarps before practice and pull the lane lines out after practices to prep the pool for them. If you have a practice that starts at 4:15, please arrive a little early to help the groups get the pool ready.

- Ella – 9 second drop 100 free, 3 second drop 100 beast, 2 second drop 50 fly 50 breast and 50 free, and a 5 second drop 100 IM ! 100% best times!!
- Mason – 4 second drop 200 IM, 4 second drop 100 breast, 2 second drop 100 IM! 100% best times!!
- Cate – 3 second drop 400 IM!
- Brady – 2 second drop 100 free, 26 second drop 500 free, 3 second drop 200 free!! 100% best times!
- Maryna – 32 second drop 1000 free!!
- Jordan – 16 second drop 400 IM, 7 second drop 200 IM!!
- Vlad – 3 second drop 50 fly, 49 second drop 500 free!!n 100% best times!!
- Damion – 2 second drop 100 IM, 2 second drop 50 breast!
Speedo Sectionals this weekend!
Cate and Roxie are down in SoCal competing at Speedo Sectionals. Both girls are having great races, droppiong time, and moving up 30-45 slots in the meet ranking for each event. Keep up the great work!
MEETS:
Sectionals (12/19-22) – Cate and Roxie will be heading to Mt. Sac Jr. College in SoCal to compete at Winter Sectionals
Bud Meyer – (1/23-25) - meet is not open yet. More information as soon as it opens. This will be the last opportunity to race for the swimmers who will be swimming for Wave this summer.
INFORMATION:
USA Swimming registration renewal. Most registrations expire on 12/31. Please renew your membership ASAP to ensure you are all set for January meets
Want to become an official? We are always in need of parents who want to become officials for our team. Every meet, we have a requirement to provide officials to run the meet. The team provides amazing benefits for certified officials working at meets. Additional benefits you receive while at the meet include great meals provided by host team, access onto a closed deck (most meets are all closed deck meaning parents are not allowed on deck with swimmers), and you get to work with a fun group of people!
