2024 Splash and Dash Pre-Meet Information This year Splash and Dash will be at Loma Verde’s newly renovated facility. As such they have issued the following rules: No food or drinks are allowed anywhere on the deck except for water. This includes in the bleachers and grass area adjacent to the pool. There will be facility staff checking as athletes and families come into the facility each day to make sure no food is brought in. The SI Diversity, Disability, Equity, and Inclusion Committee is now accepting applications to the Don Watkinds Scholarship for the 2024 season! ������������������������ The Coach Donald Watkinds’ Scholarship was established in 2017 to enable person(s) of a diverse background, circumstance, ability, or hardship to participate in the sport of swimming. The award will pay swim-related expenses for the chosen San Diego Imperial Swimming athlete(s). Entries are open for the 2024 Open Water National & Junior National Championships! The races are again being held in Sarasota, Florida May 3-5. The entry deadline is Monday, April 22 at 12:00pm MST. This year's Championships are especially significant for the 19U athletes as Team USA's roster for the 2024 World Aquatics Junior Championships will be selected. USA Swimming is proud to announce the addition of two Officials training courses to the online educational platform USA Swimming University. Foundations of Officiating and Stroke & Turn Certification are video-based modules with interactive features. Both courses are required for new stroke and turn officials.
