AAAA-AH Team Structure:
- Our team is structured with Developmental (6-14), Age group (6-14 year olds) and Senior (14 & over year olds in HS) groups with a cross over group for 13 and over athletes that know all four strokes but do not meet the minimum time standards for the senior groups.
Senior Groups (14 & over and in High School):
- Elite (14 & over) [Coach Garrett]
- To be considered an athlete must meet 3/4 below guidelines:
- Time Standards: At least 1 sectional bonus cut
- Meet Attendance: Mandatory, athletes are encouraged to swim as many meets as possible. Willingness to swim all events offered.
- Practice Attendance: 90% attendance
- A letter of recommendation from your prior group coach.
- Senior (14 & over and in High School) [Coaches Josh & Grayden]
- Time Standards: Must have at least 4 BB+ times, including both 200 IM and 200 of a stroke
- Meet Attendance: Mandatory, one meet per month
- Practice Attendance: 80%
Novice Group (11 & over year olds):
- Green (11 & Over year olds) [Coach Espie]
- Legal in ALL FOUR STROKES
- Time Standards: not required
- Meet Attendance: Athletes must swim one meet a month
- Practice Attendance: 75%
Age Groups (6-14 year olds):
- Jr. Elite (11-14 year olds) [Coaches Josh & Grayden]
- Time Standards: 11-12 must have at least 2 A+ times, one of which in 200 IM or 200 of a stroke. 13-14 must have at least 4 BB+ times, one of which in 200 IM or 200 of a stroke
- Meet Attendance: Mandatory, athletes are encouraged to swim as many meets as possible
- Practice Attendance: 85%, SATURDAY PRACTICE IS REQUIRED
- Gold (10-14 year olds) [Coaches Hayden & JP]
- Time Standards: Must have at least 4 BB+ times, one of which in 100 IM and/or 200 IM
- Meet Attendance: Mandatory, one meet per month
- Practice Attendance: 75%
- Platinum (7-11 year olds) [Coaches Grayden & Wyatt]
- Legal in ALL FOUR STROKES
- Time Standards: Must have at least 3 B times, one of which is 100 IM
- Meet Attendance: Strongly encouraged, meets/times will move athlete up
- Practice Attendance: 75%
- Blue (7-11 year olds) [Coaches Hayden & JP]
- Basic knowledge of ALL FOUR STROKES
- No scissor kick/feet breaststroke and both arms over on butterfly with kick and timing
- Meet Attendance: encouraged to continue to build confidence and proficiency with all four competitive strokes whether in development, technical areas or the beginnings of a training concept for success.
- Red (6-10 year olds) [Coach Espie]
- Basic Knowledge of Freestyle and Backstroke
- Not yet legal in Butterfly or Breaststroke
- Meet Attendance: encouraged once confidence is built on racing start, stroke proficiency
