Garrett Nelson is the Head Coach for AAAA-AH and the programs Head Age Group Coach is Josh Lozano. Coach Garrett and Josh were the Large Team Age Group and Head Coaches of the year for South Texas wimming in 2023.
The club program is for all age groups 5-18, both boys and girls. The Club program has two seasons, a short course season and a long course season. The short course season will start in late August and go until early March, with championship meets in January through March. The Long course season will start the Monday after spring break and go until early August.
Coach Garrett oversees the entire program, and Coach Josh assists with making decisions related to the age group portion of the program (middle school down). Please see the Group structure tab to see where your swimmer can be placed after tryouts.
Note: If someone left AAAA-AH to pursue another year-around USA Swimming Club, they must wait a full season before being eligible to tryout for AAAA-AH. Swimmers who are currently on the team will get priority registration for the next year.
