2010 ANNUAL LAC AWARDS BANQUET
When: 5:30pm social 6:00pm dinner 6:30pm awards
Where: Greek-Canadian Club, 965 Sarnia Road
Announcing our annual awards banquet, which will take place on Wednesday, October 20, 2010. Our banquet not only recognizes the hard work and achievements of our swimmers from the past season it also introduces and welcomes our newest team members to the club. As well, anyone who has swimming photos from the 09-10 swim year that they would like to share is asked to forward them to Coach Andrew on either disk or stick.
SWIMMING 101 – A GUIDE TO THE 2010-11 SWIM SEASON
Attend an informative session with LAC Board Members & Coaches to hear more about the club's operations and the competition season.
When: CGAC Friday October 15th - 6pm - 7pm MPR Room.
CHOCC Saturday October 16th - 7-8 am and 8-9 am.
Who: Meetings are open to all swim parents. Recommended for all new families
LAC TIME TRIAL
When: October 17, 2010 Warm up at 8:30 am Time Trial from 9:00 - 12:00 pm
Where: CGAC Deep End of the Pool
Who: All LAC Development, Age Group, Youth, Youth National and HP
Also, there will be a "Meet & Greet" in the upstairs Multi-Purpose Room at the conclusion of the Time Trial. All swimmers and parents are welcome.

EQUIPMENT
Team Aquatic Supplies: Will be at CGAC on Friday October 8th between 4-8pm. They will have a full array of practice suits, caps, goggles etc. This is a great time for your swimmer to try on suits. They will also have the swim parkas to try on for sizing if anyone is interested in purchasing one this year.
Personalized Items: Orders are currently being taken for team sweatshirts, warm up suits, backpacks and towels. Orders for these items will be taken until October 15th. Should you have any questions please contact Jacqui at [email protected]. These items will be ready in time for Christmas should you be looking for Christmas gifts. This will be the only order for the hoodies, warm up suits and towels so do not miss out!

SWIM NEWS MAGAZINE SUBSCRIPTIONS - Christmas Gift Idea
If anyone would like to order /renew a subscription to Swim News Magazine please contact Pam Lewis by October 31st, 2010. Swim News is a great way to be connected both to Canadian and International swimming (please see www.swimnews.com for more info). The cost is dependant on how many orders we place as a group, but will probably be $36 for approx. 10 issues for the year. I have a few samples of the latest issue for new members to view. QSP FUNDRAISER
Hi everyone. I've had some questions about the QSP fundraiser. The website for QSP www.qsp.ca When you visit the website you will notice that you will need an online code to order your magazines from there. The code for LAC is 17084. If the payment method for your magazines will be a cheque, Please make the cheque out to London Aquatic Club. Lastly, since we have our Time Trial and Banquet coming up, you may submit your order forms to either Carmen or myself on either of those 2 days.
