HOLLANDIA SWIM MEET 2011 FOOD DONATION LIST

For LAC hosted swim meets, each family is required to contribute a food item as specified on the club food list.  Families not providing the requested food item will be billed for the allotted amount plus an administrative fee of $5.00 on their Travel Account.  The food contribution is required whether or not your swimmer is participating in the meet.

All food items must be dropped off at the CGAC kitchen the afternoon of Thursday May 12th, with the exception of Development 2 and Age Group Orange swim families who may bring in their items on Friday May 13th .  It is your responsibility to check your family’s name off the list posted inside the CGAC kitchen when you bring in your food item.  The food items are to be $10 in value.  All fruits and vegetables are to be brought in whole.

Please contact Leslie Post [email protected] with any questions.

HOLLANDIA JOB SIGN-UPS

  • Some additional timings spots for Friday afternoon have been made available.
  • There are now volunteer spots now available for equipment set-up on Friday morning. You must also assist with take down on Sunday after finals.

  • If you can no longer work a session, please remove your name to open up the spot for someone else.

  • Some people have NOT provided the name of the person working a particluar session. If this is you, please sign back in and add the name of the person who will actually be working (you may need to un sign-up and then redo the sign-up again).

  • Providing your name is an easy step and it helps to significantly reduce the time of the various co-ordinators when organizing each session.

  • To sign-up for strokes and turns positions, you must have your strokes and turns course. Please contact Stacey @ [email protected] if you are currently not strokes and turns qualified but would like to be.

  • Senior officials and office staff will also be signed up using the web-site but the process will be different because of the importance of specific people working certain positions. As well, some of these people are not official members of the club with sign-in abilities. Instructions will be provided later this week for those affected.

NOTE: The final number of swimmers is not yet set for the meet so session start and finish times for some sessions are subject to change. Further information to be provided later this week.

NOTES FROM THE TREASURER

Travel Accounts Statements

A reminder that travel accounts are payable upon receipt of your statement. As per club policy, amounts not paid with 30 days of receipt of the travel statement result in swimmers not being able to complete for the club so please pay on a timely basis. The last statements were sent out well over a month ago and while the majority are paid, there is still a significant number still outstanding.

For the upcoming Hollandia swim meet, we will be enforcing the club policy to ensure all travel accounts are paid. Families that have a balance due from the travel statements sent in March who have not paid their account by Friday May 4th will not have their swimmers entered in the Hollandia. Payment arrangements will be considered in certain situations.

As always, feel free to contact me at [email protected] if you have any questions about the postings on your account. For any questions requiring more than a simple e-mail, please see me at the pool or e-mail me so we can make arrangements to speak over the phone.

Thanks...Steve
