WORKOUT CHANGES
The SUMMER TRAINING SCHEDULE that is posted in our Schedules section begins Monday May 30. The City is optimistic that Thames Park Pool will be ready on time. If Thames is unavailable on that date all regular schedules shall remain in effect, we will keep you posted.
WESTERN REGION STING MEET – MAY 28
IMPORTANT TIME CHANGE – this meet is now one session Warm-Up 8:00 amand Start 9:00 am for all ages.
A note from the Meet Management
We are in desperate need of officials for the Sting meet. We cannot run the meet without the help from each participating club. We need strokes and turns, starter, clerk of course, etc. If you can help can you please email James Ball <[email protected]>, our officials coordinator. Thanks.
BINGEMANS DAY TRIP
DATE: Monday, July 11, 2011
This trip is for LAC swimmers born before 1999. Bus leaves Thames Pool at 9:00 am and returns to Thames Pool at 5:00 pm. The cost will be approximately $35 based on 30 swimmers attending. Swimmers will need to bring money for lunch. Please sign up on the LAC website under the "events" section by Fri May 27 if you plan to attend.
LAC ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The Annual General Meeting of the London Aquatic Club will held on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at 7.00 p.m. The meeting will be in the MPR Room at the Canada Games Aquatic Centre.

Travel Accounts Statements
Most families should have received a travel statements this past weekend. The statements are updated for swimmers participating in the Hollandia Invitational. As always, feel free to contact me at [email protected] if you have any questions about the postings on your account. For any questions requiring more than a simple e-mail, please see me at the pool or e-mail me so we can make arrangements to speak over the phone.

LONG COURSE JR. PROVINCIALS
June 30-July 3
The team has a block of rooms for this meet at the Residence Inn by Marriott closest to the pool. The rooms are mostly studio's which have a king size bed plus a pullout sofa bed, full kitchen and includes a hot buffet breakfast for $105 per night. There are also a couple of 2 bedroom suites which have 2 separate bedrooms both with king size beds plus a pullout sofa bed and full kitchen and also includes a hot buffet breakfast for $169 per night.
