DR. PAUL HAUCH MEET
LAC parents-you ROCK! It was awesome how everyone came together to put on a
spectacular meet this past weekend! The 34th Dr. Paul Hauch Meet was the
best yet! Congratulations and thank you to everyone that came out to the
pool to help out or helped out before and after the event. There was
nothing but compliments on a great meet. It takes cooperation and team work
to pull off such a big event and LAC has both of these great qualities.

2011 Dr. Paul Hauch Swim Meet
HAUCH MEET COACHES REPORT
A meet report will be included in next week's newsletter. For now, CONGRATULATIONS to all LAC swimmers whose 2010-11 year is over. Competitive swimming is a very special sport, and only very special people are able to do it and do it well. The entire LAC coaching staff, from Development through High Performance, salutes you all as very special people, and we look forward to seeing you and working with you all again for the "Olympic" year.
JASON KLOSS LAKE SWIM
Jason Kloss is a former competitive swimmer who is swimming across Lake Huron in August to raise funds for cancer research. He requires strong swimmers to help pace him during his swim. He has asked us specifically for potential candidates. If you are interested, please check the 'WHAT'S NEW" section of our website for a link to Jason's website, where more information can be found.
LAC SWIM CAMP
LAC swimmers just completed another fun filled, sun filled Swim Camp Week. Thanks to our coaches and helpers that volunteered their time to make this camp a huge success.
SEPTEMBER REGISTRATION INFORMATION
The club is already in planning mode for next season. You will receive and email later this summer with all your registration information including your swimmer’s 2011-12 group placement and a registration date, time, and location.
Tentative dates: Registration Day, Sat. Sept 10th 9am-noon at CGAC
Tentative Start Up Dates: HP, SR Gold, SR Blue, Mon. Sept 12th
All other groups week of Mon, Sept. 19th
Your swimmer must be registered before they will be allowed to start their 2011 -2012 season.
ALL 2010-11 LAC SWIMMERS WILL HAVE A GUARANTEED SPOT FOR NEXT SEASON, there is no need to “reserve” your place.
We do have a waiting list for new swimmers - if you know anyone who would like to join our club please have them contact me either through e-mail at [email protected] or through our club’s phone line at (519) 857-SWIM. Although we certainly hope that all our swimmers will be returning, if you know that your swimmer will not I would appreciate it if you could let me know so that we can offer your swimmer’s spot to someone on our waiting list.
And finally, thank you all for sharing your family with us this past year! Best wishes to a fun and restful(?) summer and we look forward to seeing you in September.

Travel Accounts Statements
*Travel accounts statements will be sent out later this week. Further instructions will be provided with the travel statement. Payment can be made either by leaving a cheque in LAC box @ CGAC, by mail or on-line.
We will also be providing an additional payment option of PayPal on a trial basis.
Please e-mail me if you are interested in paying using PayPal and the necessary link to make payment will be provided when your travel statement is sent.
As always, feel free to contact me at [email protected] if you have any questions about the postings on your account. For any questions requiring more than a simple e-mail, please see me at the pool or e-mail me so we can make arrangements to speak over the phone.
Please note that we are NOT currently using the website billing feature.

CALLIE COULTER has offered to put together the slide show for the October 2011 awards banquet. Anyone with photos taken throughout the 2010-11 swim year can give their photos to Callie either on a flash drive or DVD. Thank you Callie...we look forward to the show!!
