Two more LAC Inductees into Ontario Aquatic Hall of Fame

The London Aquatic Club extends sincere congratulations to Chris Chalmers and Debbie Wurzburger, both of whom recently received word from the Ontario Aquatic Hall of Fame that their nominations for induction into the Hall have been accepted and the ceremony will take place in conjunction with the annual Swim Ontario Conference in September.

Chris and Debbie swam for LAC (then London Y Aquatic Club) in the 1980's under Head Coaches Brian Cartlidge then Paul Midgley, and were both national champions and Canadian record-holders in their specialties, distance freestyle. The pinnacle for them both was their selection to the 1988 Canadian Olympic team which competed in Seoul, South Korea. Wurzburger also competed at the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, Spain.
