DAY 3 PRELIMS UPDATE & CLUB RECORD ALERT! What a swim! Hugh McNeill won the heat in the 1500 FR with a best time of 15:47.89. Hugh closed/finished his last 100 metres with a split of 59 seconds! Last night showcased various veteran and rookie swimmers that qualified for the 2020 Olympic Games. The second day of the Canadian Olympic Trials showcased potential medalists in the Women’s 200 Freestyle, the Women’s 4x200 Freestyle Relay, Women’s 100 Breaststroke, and Men’s 100 Breaststroke. In the 2020 Trials, Swimming Canada also decided to use 10 lanes for the finals instead of 8 lanes, providing 2 more slots for swimmers that can potentially qualify.
