LSC Select Camps (Link)

The mission of the LSC Select Camp program is to provide our members with an exciting camp experience that fosters the love of swimming from the grassroots to the national level.

Zone Select Camps (Link)

Zone Select Camps bring the top swimmers in each zone together for a unique motivational experience. Selection is done automatically using the SWIMS times database.

National Select Camps (Link)

This camp is designed for the top USA Swimming member athletes in the nation to have a once-in-a-lifetime camp experience. Swimmers are selected from the SWIMS database of top times. During the camp, these swimmers will learn about post race recovery, drug and supplement rules, psychological training skills, nutrition, race strategy and more.

The 2022 National Select Camp will be held on October 6-9 (Girls) and October 13-16 (Boys) at the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO.

 

National Open Water Select Camp (Link)

USA Swimming offers 24 of the country's best distance swimmers the opportunity for a unique motivational and educational experience. The National Open Water Camp is an integral step for athletes to move from the pool to Open Water and then to the international scene.

Regional Diversity Select Camp (Link)

To further evolve the Diversity Camps pathway and identify emerging young, diverse athletes in varying regions and offer a unique motivational and educational experience, USA Swimming will resume the Regional Diversity Camps in 2022. This integral step will help athletes move from the local and regional level onto the national scene.

National Diversity Select Camp (Link)

USA Swimming invites up to 56 athletes from underrepresented populations to participate in a three-day camp program which includes pool training, motivational and education sessions and team-building activities. Selection is based on times achieved at USA Swimming sanctioned event

Regional Coaches Clinics (Link)

USA Swimming's Regional Coach Clinics provide coaches of all levels and experience with the blueprint and best in class expertise to reform their coaching using facilitated education, discussions, and activities.   

Diversity Coach Mentorship Program (Link)

As the national governing body for competitive swimming in the United States, USA Swimming is committed to diversifying at all levels of the sport in order to achieve and foster an inclusive swimming environment.

Coach mentees participate in an on-site visit with their coach mentors and meet with staff, observe meetings/practices and spend time discussing the sport in order to increase their organization skills and technical knowledge. The relationship between mentee and mentor continues throughout the next year and beyond.
