Approved Swimsuits for 2010 Effective 1/25/10 (1/25/2010) The USA Swimming House of Delegates, at its September 2009 meeting, adopted new rules regarding swimwear which limited swimsuits used for competitive purposes to those swimsuits which are in compliance with specifications established by FINA, the international governing body for the sport of swimming. On the last night of competition, at the Grand Prix in South Beach, California, the MAGNUS relay team of Rachel Moore, Margaret D'Innocenzo, Meaghan Grimes and Erica Belcher placed FIRST in the 800 Free Relay. DECEMBER Swimmer of the Month Benjamin Janoschek (HHS) Congratulations to Benjamin Janoschek, of the Hampshire Hills Seawolves, for being selected as New England Swimming’s December Swimmer of the Month. At only 12 years old, Ben has shown remarkable leadership whether it be at practice or at a meet.
