KCAC is closed on Thursday and Friday due to the WIAA Girls State Meet. These are the changes that will impact swimmers for Sumner/KCAC. FWCC practice on Thursday remains the same. Hello VAST families! We have recieved a timing assignment for the upcoming Q meet. You can go here to view and sign up. Or, log into your VAST account and sign up for the Job Sign Ups listed next to the Q meet event. If we are unable to fill the positions via volunteers, the positions will be assigned to families with swimmers in attendance per the VAST volunteer policy. Good Luck to all the Q meet swimmers! We will send a more detailed newsletter out tomorrow, but here are the important details for today and tomorrow. Tonight is a normal practice schedule at all pools. Tomorrow, Veterans Day, has some practice changes. Silver elite, gold elite, and sprint performance is from 10-12 at the Sumner HS pool. Blue, gold and silver in Sumner is normal. Hey VAST Families, Just a quick update about Monday’s practice & Entries for the VAST Fall Classic. We just received word that effective with this year, that the King County Aquatic Center will be closed on certain holidays and that includes Indigenous People’s Day this coming Monday. This will affect both KCAC and Sumner practice schedules (federal Way Community Center will remain the same for Federal Way Blue & Silver Swimmers). Do you need some more VAST Caps with your swimmers names. to get through the summer? We are doing a quick order for more Silicone Caps (no latex this order) to hopefully get in time for our summer meets. Silicone caps are $15 per cap and you must order two.
