Swim Team Tryouts Swim team tryouts will be on Monday, November 18, 2024 and Tuesday, November 19, 2024 from 3:00 - 4:45 pm at the Lionville Community YMCA, 100 Devon Drive, Exton, PA 19341. Bus transportation will be provided from school to the Lionville Community YMCA to swimmers who need it. Tryouts are for both current and prospective team members. Please join us for the annual Athlete-Parent team meeting as we begin to kick off the 2024-2025 season! The coaches will be there to discuss tryouts and the season. They will also answer any questions that you may have. Both returning team members and prospective team members should attend this meeting, as well as their parents. Congratulations to our Downingtown West swimmers for some amazing accomplishments at the PIAA State Championship meet at Bucknell University! They include the following: The girls 200 medley relay (sophomore Morgan Harlan, freshman Keira Carmella, sophomore Ellie McNamara, and senior Leah Lacovara) coming in 23rd place; Sophomore Ellie McNamara coming in 11th place for the 200 freestyle with a 1.43 time drop; Freshman Keira Carmella coming in 16th place for the 200 IM and medaling; Sophomore Ellie McNamara coming in 5th place for the 500 freestyle with a 6.91 time drop...
