Sara King Assistant Coach

With over two decades of experience in the pool—both as a competitive swimmer and a passionate coach—Sara brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to our team. Her journey began at just 4 years old with the Georgetown Aquadillos summer league team, and by age 8, she was competing at the club level with Longhorn Aquatics. Eventually, she found her stride with Texas Gold Georgetown, making waves through high school by breaking multiple records and consistently qualifying for regionals.

Sara's love for swimming carried her through college, where she competed for four years at The University of Texas of the Permian Basin (Division II), serving as captain during her junior and senior years while earning her B.B.A. Her leadership in and out of the pool continues to inspire young swimmers today.

Beyond competing, Sara has made a lasting impact as a coach. She has mentored swimmers with the Georgetown Aquadillos, the Permian High School swim team, and has provided over 15 years of private swim instruction. For the past three summers, she’s led the Pflugerville Piranhas as their head coach, fostering a fun yet competitive environment for young athletes.

Outside the pool, Sara's life is just as full and vibrant. She’s been happily married to her husband, Ryan, for 13 years, and together they have three wonderful kids—Hunter (11), Landon (9), and Hadley (6)—who are all proud members of LSAC. The family lives in Hutto, where Sara also thrives in her career as a Dell Sales Coach for Dell Technologies.
