Adam Depmore Head Coach

Born and raised in the great state of Texas, Coach Adam's journey has been one deeply intertwined with the rhythm of the water. Whether on the riverbanks or seaside shores, his formative years were spent immersed in the aquatic world, where his passion for swimming was ignited. A true connoisseur of physical fitness from a young age, it was only natural for him to steer his career toward this unwavering passion.

During his college years, Coach Adam's journey took a pivotal turn as he commissioned with the United States Air Force. There he developed the skills and experience needed to develop the nations finest. It was in the Air Force that the profound meaning of servitude resonated with him, shaping his path in ways he couldn't have foreseen. This passion for service and the transformative power of coaching led him back to the world of swimming in 2007 where he helped ] develop of some of the fastest swimmers in America.

In his first few years as a Head Coach, LSAC swimmers rose to the top in the nation while signing with prestigous swim schools like the University of Texas, Incarnate Word, Texas A&M, University of Houston and Texas Christian University.

For Coach Adam, swimming is more than a sport; it's a vehicle for personal development and growth. His relentless dedication is fueled by the pursuit of nurturing hardworking, dedicated individuals and instilling the principles of making people better in all aspects of life. In the realm of training, Coach Adam firmly believes in the mantra of continuous improvement. He advocates for taking stock, having skin in the game, adapting and improving training methods, and embracing innovation to refine our practices and, in the process, transform ourselves.

As the architect behind the leadership training and curriculum for all LSAC coaches and athletes, Coach Adam has demonstrated a history of dedication to the non-profit sector. His aspirations revolve around shaping well-rounded leaders who embody qualities of resilience, productivity, athleticism, coordination, functionality, and agility.

 

Walker Cumpian Head Assistant Coach

Born and raised in the heart of Austin, Coach Walker embodies a deep-rooted connection to the Lone Star State. His journey as a dual-sport athlete, excelling in both Swimming and Volleyball, laid the foundation for his remarkable coaching career.

As a student-athlete, Coach Walker proudly wore the colors of the Westwood Warriors, where he earned the distinction of a four-year letterman in swimming. It was during these formative years that his passion for the pool was ignited, and his legendary relay split propelled the Warriors to a coveted spot in the state championship finals.

Though his time as an athlete reached its pinnacle in high school, Coach Walker's fervor for coaching was just beginning to bloom as he ventured into higher education at Texas State University. During his collegiate journey, he dedicated several seasons to coaching and training the highly esteemed women's volleyball team, consistently ranked at the top of the charts. These experiences not only honed his skills but also solidified his commitment to nurturing top-tier talent.

In 2018, armed with a degree from Texas State University, Coach Walker wasted no time delving into the world of coaching, embracing both volleyball and swimming with equal enthusiasm. Upon his return to Lone Star, a profound realization began to shape his path. His passion for developing young athletes resonated deeply, steering the course of his education, training, and the prospect of serving others well beyond the realm of college and athletics.

As a coach, Walker's fervor knows no bounds. His primary goal is to foster the holistic development of every athlete under his guidance. With a wealth of experience in enhancing speed, power, power endurance, and sprinting technique – both in and out of the pool – Coach Walker is equally adept at training newcomers to the sport of swimming.

In his very first year at Lone Star, Coach Walker played a pivotal role in helping numerous talented athletes secure their spots as TAGS finalists. Beyond the waters of the pool, he shares his life with his beloved wife, Dobie, and their two faithful companions, Snupe and Nelle, in the vibrant community of Round Rock.

Coach Walker's journey is a testament to his unwavering commitment to the development of young athletes and the pursuit of excellence in the world of swimming. His passion, dedication, and boundless energy serve as an inspiration to all who cross his path.
