How to Join Storm Aquatics

Step 1: Schedule an evaluation

New swimmer evaluations are required for all swimmers that are not transferring from another USA Swimming Club. Each evaluation will take 10-15 minutes to complete.

Fall session new swimmer evaluations will be in late July via a signup.  Winter, spring, and summer session new swimmer evaluations can be scheduled by email.

Step 2: Check the group-specific details for your swimmer's group

Your swimmer's practice schedule, group requirements, necessary equipment, and all other group-specific details can be found by clicking the appropriate group here.

Step 3: Review the important dates and fees for the session

Prices and dates for each session vary. Click on a session for information.

Fall Session

Summer Session

Step 4: Register your swimmer with Storm Aquatics

Registration happens within a certain window for each session. When open, this link will be live.  If you're not sure of when a registration is open, select the link in Step 2.

Step 5: Register your swimmer with USA Swimming

All Storm Aquatics swimmers are required to be members of USA Swimming.  Follow this link to register your swimmer.  Registrations from the start of a registration year through December 31st of the following year.

Step 6: Pick up the necessary equipment for your swimmer

Each group has a few items that a swimmer will need for practice. A list can be found on each training group's page. Items can be purchased at Simply Swimming in Madison (6649 University Avenue Middleton, WI 53562).
