Senior Swimmers and Family Members, We have a couple Paseo Aquatics seniors who will be signing their Letter of Intent tomorrow to swim at their respective colleges-- and have chosen to execute those signings at The Paseo Club with teammates and coaches standing by. MASTERS SWIM Reminder that the M-W-F 8:30AM MASTERS CLASS will be cancelled effective May 1st, 2014. The TUESDAY/THURSDAY MASTERS CLASS will remain-- and any swimmers currently participating in the M-W-F sessions are more than welcome to join the early bird group. Should interest continue to build for the 5AM session, we will entertain adding a 3rd day to the schedule. FAR WESTERN ZONE CHAMPIONSHIPS Three Paseo Aquatics swimmers-- LIZA KUZNETSOVA, SONALY WINTERMUTE and JULIA WOLF-- faced without a doubt the fastest competition we've seen all year in the 2014 FAR WESTERN ZONE CHAMPIONSHIPS held April 3-6 in Morgan Hill, CA (San Jose), and came away with their heads held high. The three girls swam in a total of 15 races-- together earning 6 Championship Final appearances. NEW SATURDAY MORNING PRACTICE SCHEDULE The team has just secured additional lanes at the CASTAIC AQUATICS COMPLEX to conduct all Saturday Morning practices. HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!! And green with envy should be every swimmer who missed the First Annual Paseo Aquatics POLAR PLUNGE. Paseo swimmers young and old turned out for the event, which proved to be a FUN-raiser as well as a FUND-raiser. Courtesy of the Newhall Ice Company, 900 LBS of ice were tossed into the pool, making the already cooler waters even more fun to navigate.
