Last weekend, we officially kicked off the 2010 long course season with two meets. 19 Senior Swimmers drove over to Seattle Washington to compete at one of the greatest venues in the world. The King County Aquatics center, host of the 1990 Good Will Games, 2009 D1 NCAA Championships, and the 2009 US National meet was the place to be last weekend. Several of the swimmers were at the pool for the first time, walking into a building that has the capability of having 10,000 screaming fans and parents. It was a blast! Nine Spokane Waves Swimmers headed down to Lewiston for the 2010 Lewis-Clark Neptune Invitational. It was a nice and surprisingly relaxing weekend—good swims, warm weather (with tans & burns!), and lots of fun.
