Where to Swim in Other Cities: We do encourage our members to stay in swimming shape while out of town. Therefore, we provide lists of pools available and contacts when possible, in the towns where one may be traveling. This information is also available on the USMS website www.USMS.org.
Special Swim Clinics: Stroke clinics will generally be offered in the fall, winter, and spring months to provide opportunities for specific stroke improvement. Coaches will break strokes down into all components, including the kick, the pull, and the finish, as well as starts and turns.
One-on-One Personal Clinics: For those new to swimming, or those desiring to work on specific aspects of their own training, the coach offers this service for a fee. Training is arranged directly with the desired coach, and sessions generally run 30 to 60 minutes. These can be weekly sessions, once- every so often, or once-in-a-lifetime. You can e-mail to schedule a session.
