Patrick Moore Swimming Scholarship Awarded

Patrick Moore Memorial Swimming Scholarship Awarded 

Two Saddleback College Swimmers were honored with a special scholarship last week as Danny Tayenaka and Carolina Conway received the award at the College annual scholarship banquet.

Tayenaka and Conway were both received $500 for the Pat Moore Memorial Swimming Scholarship.  This award is presented in memory of Pat who passed away in July of 2009 to a student who is a member of the Saddleback College swim team. Both were awarded the scholarship by Coach Mark and Patrick's sister Katie. 

A portion of the proceeds from The Patrick Moore Memorial Relay Meet held last year went towards the Scholarship Fund.
