5. Words from Coach Mark

It’s all about ATTITUDE

Remember:

1. Realize that attitude is a choice.

2. Choose a predominately positive attitude.

3. View swimming as an opportunity to compete against yourself and learn from your successes and failures.

4. Pursue excellence, not perfection, and realize that you, your coaches, teammates, officials, and others are not perfect.

5. Maintain balance and perspective between your swimming and the rest of your life.

6. Respects your sport, other participants, coaches, officials, and yourself.

“Ability is what you're capable of doing. Motivation

determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you

do it.”  ― Lou Holtz
