1. WORDS FROM COACH MARK
We’ve got a big week ahead, and I want to give a shout-out to everyone helping make it happen. Our upcoming events are powered by some incredible committee members who’ve stepped up to lead and organize. Nadadores Masters Volunteer of the Year
Congratulations to Margaret Cochran for receiving the Masters Volunteer of the Year at the Mission Viejo Nadadores Foundation Annual Meeting.
Margaret stands out as a shining example of service and commitment. Her contributions have had a lasting impact on our team—touching countless members and elevating the spirit of our community.
Margaret’s unwavering dedication to the Nadadores is evident in her enthusiastic support at swim meets, her behind-the-scenes efforts, and her constant presence at team events. Her team spirit and willingness to step up whenever needed have made her an invaluable part of our journey.
We thank Margaret for her extraordinary service and celebrate the positive difference she continues to make in the lives of our swimmers and the heart of MVN Masters.

3. NADADORES FRIGHT NIGHT
SAVE THE DATE!
Fright Night is coming on October 24th! We will begin accepting candy donations on October 13th!
Please drop by the office with a bag or two of any candy (suggested 150 pieces) to help us prepare for a GREAT EVENT for our swimmers and community!

4. HOSTING
MVN is looking for a host family for Ohlsson Skaret from Paraguay. Ohlsson is 17 years old and a top swimmer from Paraguay. He is looking to train at MVN for 6 weeks early in 2026. Host families are expected to provide a private room, a separate or shared bathroom, all meals, and transportation to/from the pool for practice and possible meets. Athlete to pay family agreed-upon monthly rates.
- Originally from Virginia, Ohlsson is homeschooled and speaks both English and Spanish.
- High School Sophomore.
- Runner-up for the Home School Legal Defense Academy’s National Student of the Year.
- Was a Slalom Water Skier and Blue Belt in Jiu-Jitsui but now focuses on Swimming.
- His Best Friend, Joao may also be coming at the same time! Do you have room for both?

5. TEAM SUPPORT SERVICE POLICY REMINDERS
25-26 Session 1 began on September 1, 2025. Each member has been assigned 6 hours of TEAM Support hours.

6. BILLING OPTIONS
MVN accepts payment via credit card or ACH bank debit. Credit card processing fees are approximately 3% of the amount charged. ACH processing fees are $1.25 per charge, regardless of amount.
