Wave sent seven swimmers into the desert to face blistering California heat as well as about 1500 swimmers from the rest of the western United States. Our swimmers faced their challenges head on and came out the other side victorious. Everyone who competed left the meet with at least one best time, most of them with multiple. It was an incredibly fun week seeing our swimmers step up and race their absolute hardest. There were ups and downs but the smiles at the end more than made up for the...
Age Group Seattle Open What a weekend as we returned to Colman Pool for the first time since 2019! For most of the athletes, it was their first meet ever at Colman, and for many, it was their first time ever swimming long course! At least we had a great setting at Lincoln Park next to the Puget Sound, and decent weather for most of the meet (if a bit cold and windy on Friday morning!). It was great fun to enjoy seeing the Olympics to the west and watch...

May Flowers Meet Recap Well, that was fun! Watching all our young swimmers walking into KCAC, some of them for the first time ever, and seeing their eyes get huge at the length of a 50-meter pool, then to hear them say after their races how much they enjoyed swimming long course for the first time. We saw loads of excellent swims and possibly a record number of best times, since most swimmers had either never swum long course before or hadn’t swum that distance in a long time. Our...
